What we can do

Correct factual errors — wrong phone, wrong address, closed practice, name change, ownership transfer, relocation. Update vision-care signal capabilities when there's a publicly-visible source on the practice website or a verifiable third-party page. Remove a record at the practice owner's written request, with verification. Add a practice we missed if it has a public address, a working phone number, and either a working website or a Google Maps listing matching optometry / eye-care / vision-care.

What we can't do

Provide medical advice, recommend a doctor, or quote treatment plans — call the practice directly for those. Boost a listing's profile tier without supporting public evidence. Sell sponsored placement — we don't have it. Verify insurance coverage on a patient-by-patient basis — confirm with your plan and the practice's front desk. Refer patients or take a commission on bookings — we are a directory, not an agency.

For practice owners

If your practice has closed permanently or moved out of optometry into a different vertical, please email so we can remove or downgrade the listing. Closed records on the directory waste a patient's time and hurt the practices that are still open. If the listing has the wrong specialty (e.g. a retina-only sub-specialty got pulled into the directory), let us know and we will downgrade or remove it — we screen for surgical-only listings deliberately, but the screen is not perfect.
